Description
Danish multinational manufacturer of mineral wool products, Rockwool Group announced the opening of a new plant by 2019, which will create 150 new jobs near Ploiesti, Aricestii-Rahtivani (Prahova County), 60 km north of Romania’s capital, Bucharest. The construction of the new plant will start in 2018 and the company will invest €50 million.
In February 2017, the company announced it would expand production in the US, Sweden and Romania. The company entered the Romanian market 20 years ago through its local sales offices.
Globally, the company has 10,500 employees across 38 countries.
