The low-cost Irish carrier has announced that it will hire about 2,000 pilots in Europe over the next three years, as the company recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
New pilots will be recruited to crew aircraft deliveries. As part of this recruitment drive, Ryanair will deliver Boeing 737 training courses in partnership with Airline Flight Academy in Dublin, Ireland. Training courses will take place through 2021 to be ready for summer 2022 for Ryanair’s locations across Europe. The airline has received its first Boeing 737-8200 Gamechanger aircraft, which will help reduce fuel consumption, costs and noise, and CO2 emissions.
