The Saint-Jean group has announced an extension of one of its production sites at Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) which will enable the creation of 150 jobs from 2021 to 2025. 
The group is specialised in the production and marketing of ravioli, quenelles, fresh pasta and other ready-to-use ready-made meals for large and medium-sized retailers and regional hospitals. The group plans to invest €48 million on its site to modernise and expand its production tool with environmentally-friendly technologies. Through this investment, the group aims to achieve a turnover of €150 million by 2030 (of which 10% from exports) and an increase in its market share from 6.7 to 10%.

Saint Jean has 435 employees spread over five sites, all located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The group announced a turnover of €81.5 million for its last financial year.
