Swedish producer of stainless steel products Sandvik reduces their workforce in Hallstahammar by 100 people in the business area Materials Technology. The workforce reduction will take place during the next 18 months. 

The purpose, according to the company is to enable a shift in the product mix to develop more advanced and profitable products in important key segments, such as the energy sector.
