Description

Sollac Atlantique, subsidiary of Arcelor, announced a restructuring plan affecting 600 workers by the end of 2006. Three plants are affected by the measure: Montataire (Oise) where 500 jobs will be dismissed, Mardyck (Nord) where 180 jobs will be dismissed, and Dunkerque (Nord) where 400 jobs will be dismissed. On the other hand, 140 jobs will be created on those three plants in order to exploit the industrial tools.
