Fast food chain Supermac's is to create 200 new jobs, with the opening of three new outlets in the Midlands and the South-East. The new stores are in Wexford, Waterford and Westmeath and it is understood most of the jobs will be full-time roles. Supermac's is also seeking planning permission for further developments in Letterkenny, Longford, Ennis and Portlaoise; if these developments go ahead, it is projected Supermac's will be hiring another 300 people in due course. The Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation has welcomed the jobs announcement.
