Telus International, a Canadian-owned global customer outsourcing company, has announced plans to create 1,500 new jobs in Romania by the end of 2022.  Telus International is a multilingual contact centre which provides business process outsourcing and information technology outsourcing services. The company operates in Romania since 2004.

As of December 2021, Telus International has 2,500 employees in Romania spread across three centres in Brasov (Brasov County), Bucharest and Craiova (Dolj County). In 2021, the company implemented the concept of ‘work from anywhere’, which facilitated the recruitment of 1,000 workers.
