Thales MicroElectronics, a French microelectronics company, is planning to hire 130 people by the end of the first quarter of 2022, for its site at Étrelles near Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine). The site is specialised in the development and production of products that operate in harsh environments, i.e. those subject to vibration, shock or high temperatures. The 130 open positions are for 40% in development and support and 60% in production. The new hirings will be needed to meet the demand for new orders since the company is forecasting almost 20% growth in its activities in 2022. The recruitment comes in addition to the 110 already recruited at the beginning of 2021.
