The Germany-based international technical service group TÜV Süd has recently announced its plans to create 1,000 new jobs worldwide by the end of 2014. Half of the new positions will be created in Germany, whilst it is not yet known where the other positions will be based. The new positions will be mainly for quality and safety experts.
The company currently employs around 20,000 people worldwide, spread over 60 countries.
TÜV Süd announced that it had created 1,400 jobs globally in 2013 already; the current round of jobs creation is part of its plans to continue expansion and maintain its positive rate of growth.
