European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The manufacturer of electronic components for television industry Vilniaus Vingio geba, terminated its activity in April 2007 due to the lack of production orders. According to the administration, the company will be liquidated and 138 workers will be dismissed. Vilniaus Vingio geba was a subsidiary company of Vilniaus Vingis and belonged to Vilniaus Vingis group. The bankruptcy of Ekranas, the main customer of Vilniaus Vingio geba, was one of the main factors that determined the liquidation of the company.
