In 2007, the German Würth Group, a global trader in fastening and assembly technology, will increase its German workforce of 15,300 by another 500 employees. Most of the new jobs will be created by expanding the network of pick-up branches in the country. The operating results of the company increased by 12% compared to the previous year reaching 177 million Euro in the first quarter of 2007. About 40% of the operating result has been achieved in Germany. The Group is planning to invest half a billion Euro in 2007 in its international structure and operations.
