Austrian furniture store chain XXXLutz will create between 100 and 400 new jobs near Erfurt. The company is building a new logistics centre for its e-commerce shop. The first construction phase will be finished in 2018. The investment for the construction work and the first 100 jobs amounts to €70 million. The company announced plans to create a total of up to 400 new jobs at this new site.

XXXLutz closed another logistic center and therefore cut 99 jobs in Mannheim in February 2016 (XXXLutz, 2016). The XXXL Group employs about 22,000 people in Europe.
