Restructuring events database

The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.

ACCESS RESTRUCTURING EVENTS DATABASE

In order to be included in the database, an individual case of restructuring must involve the announced loss or creation of at least 100 jobs, or employment effects affecting at least 10% of a workforce of more than 250 people. A restructuring statistics tool is available to explore summary data from the restructuring events database by country, sector and restructuring type.The full dataset can be made available for non-commercial research purposes.
