National trade union confederations

National trade union confederations are constituent members of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).

According to Article 1 of its Constitution, ETUC ‘shall consist of national trade union confederations and European trade union federations’, while Article 27 stipulates that ETUC ‘shall be financed by fees from the affiliated trade union confederations’. The national trade union confederations are represented in ETUC’s Congress, Executive Committee and Steering Committee. There are 90 affiliated national trade union confederations representing 38 countries, as follows:
