    Condições de trabalho na União Europeia: A perspectiva do género - Resumo executivo

    Autor(es):
    Eurofound
    No seguimento do inquérito de 2005, a Eurofound realizou uma nova análise aprofundada das conclusões a que chegara sobre temas chave relacionados com as condições de trabalho na UE. As semelhanças e as diferenças nos ambientes de trabalho dos homens e das mulheres foram um dos temas analisados. A investigação analisou muitos dos aspectos específicos da qualidade do emprego – incluindo horário de trabalho, satisfação com o emprego, compatibilidade da vida profissional com a vida privada e efeitos do trabalho na saúde – com o intuito de avaliar as experiências de mulheres e homens num local de trabalho em mudança constante. Analisou a divisão do trabalho segundo o género do ponto de vista quer da vida profissional, quer da vida privada, e forneceu perspectivas sobre as condições de trabalho dos homens e das mulheres nos 27 Estados-Membros da UE. O presente folheto resume os principais desafios suscitados pela dimensão do género no local de trabalho e apresenta uma breve síntese dos principais resultados da investigação.
