This ad hoc report identifies gaps between work hours and the hours of out-of-school care activities provided to children aged 6–12 – including care provided before school, during lunch breaks or after school, and services provided during holiday periods. It provides an overview of national policies on out-of-school care and assesses how Member States support the provision of out-of-school-care through public policy.
