Access to and quality of key public services in the EUForthcoming

This report examines the access to and quality of public services with a particular focus on healthcare, long-term care, childcare and education to provide comparative data across the EU partly based on the European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS) 2016. In addition, the report will identify which factors influence quality of these services most and how they differ for different societal groups. With regard to quality of services, six dimensions will be analysed: quality of premises; professionalism of staff; staff attention; being informed; equal treatment and presence of corruption. Some assessment of developments over time is possible with regard to healthcare.
