Understanding Uber: Breaking down the London driver numbers
In 2017, Uber released the number of drivers operational in London, the UK. This article takes a look at the numbers of drivers and the estimates of their income as presented by Uber and uses these to calculate how many London drivers are likely to earn a full-time equivalent wage. The article's calculations suggest that between 5 - 15% (2,000 to 3,000) of the London pool of Uber drivers earn a London living wage.
