High-level conference on the economy of well-being
Under the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is organising a high-level event to highlight the 'Economy of well-being' approach, which examines the two-way relationship between well-being and the economy.
The conference aims to generate cross-sectoral dialogue on the themes for use in the forthcoming Council conclusions on the 'Economy of well-being'.
Tadas Leončikas, Research Manager, Social policies unit at Eurofound will write a background paper on 'Quality of health and care in improving well-being and economic performance' for the conference. Tadas will also be one of the panellists at the session: 'Managing resources in changing environments and society'.
