Pandemia de COVID-19 a continuat să fie o forță definitorie în viața și munca europenilor pentru al doilea an în 2021, iar Eurofound și-a continuat activitatea de analizare și înregistrare a numeroaselor și diverselor efecte în toate statele membre ale UE. Raportul Condiții de viață și de muncă în Europa 2021 oferă o imagine de ansamblu asupra modificărilor aduse condițiilor de angajare, de muncă și de viață în Europa, așa cum au fost culese de activitățile de cercetare ale Eurofound în 2021. Acest anuar sintetizează, de asemenea, constatările agenției cu privire la alte aspecte dificile ale vieții sociale și economice, inclusiv egalitatea de gen în ocuparea forței de muncă, inegalitatea bogăției și deficitul de forță de muncă, care vor avea o influență semnificativă asupra redresării în urma pandemiei, a rezilienței în fața războiului din Ucraina și a unei tranziții reușite către un viitor verde și digital.
