In the current EU debate on labour market and employment policies, the concept of ‘flexicurity’ – the balance between the flexibility and security needs of employers and employees – has emerged as a central issue. This report puts forward four key indicators to be taken into account in the discussion on flexicurity: objective job insecurity, subjective job insecurity, employability and vulnerability. The analysis is based on findings from the fourth European Working Conditions Survey carried out across 31 countries, including the 27 EU Member States. An executive summary is available.

    Pracovné podmienky v Európskej únii: Istota zamestnania a zamestnateľnosť - Zhrnutie

    Po prieskume z roku 2005 vypracovala nadácia Eurofound ďalšiu podrobnú analýzu svojich zistení v oblasti kľúčových tém týkajúcich sa pracovných podmienok v EÚ. Jednou zo skúmaných tém bola istota zamestnania a zamestnateľnosť (flexikurita) a jej ďalekosiahle dôsledky na spoločnosť a pracovný trh ako celok. Na preskúmanie flexikurity sa vo výskume použili štyri ukazovatele: objektívna pracovná neistota, subjektívna pracovná neistota, zamestnateľnosť a zraniteľnosť. V tomto informačnom letáku sa nachádza zhrnutie hlavných úloh, ktoré prináša flexikurita, a zároveň prehľad hlavných výsledkov výskumu.
