Swiss say Uber Eats must register as postal service provider

On 15 December 2020, Switzerland’s postal supervisory authority, PostCom, announced that Uber Eats, the US-based company’s Swiss affiliate needs to register as a postal service provider by the end of January 2021 and needs to be regulated as such, though it can contest the decision. Uber Eats responded that it had ‘just received the argumentation from PostCom and will now analyse it, in order to evaluate the next steps.’
