In Hungary, Section 134, sub-section 1 of Act I of 2012 on the Labour Code states that workers have to record their working time, but there is not a specific reference for teleworkers or remote workers.
Hungary has a general regulatory approach, i.e. there not exists specific legislation regulating teleworking or the balance between work and life. However, it is indirectly assumed that teleworking can be a potential benefit for employees.
