    Efter 2005 års undersökning utförde institutet ytterligare ingående analyser av dess resultat som gällde centrala teman som rör arbetsvillkoren i EU. Likheterna och skillnaderna i mäns och kvinnors arbetsmiljöer var ett av de teman som utforskades. Forskningen såg på de många specifika aspekterna av arbetskvalitet – däribland arbetstider, välbefinnande på arbetet, möjlighet att förena arbete och privatliv, samt arbetsrelaterade hälsoresultat – för att pejla kvinnors och mäns erfarenheter av en föränderlig arbetsplats. Den analyserade den könsbundna fördelningen av arbete utifrån både ett arbetslivsperspektiv och ett hemmaperspektiv, och gav insikter i arbetsvillkoren för män och kvinnor i 27 EU-medlemsstater. Denna broschyr sammanfattar de främsta utmaningar som arbetets jämställdhetsperspektiv medför och ger en översikt av forskningens främsta resultat.
