Jim Halpenny

Head of Unit, Information and Communication Technologies

Jim Halpenny is Head of Information and Communication Technologies at Eurofound since 2007. From 1990 to 2005, he was ICT Unix Administrator at Eurofound. Prior to this, he worked as a computer network administrator at the Dundalk Institute of Technology and an analyst programmer with Burlington Industries. He has also lectured on IT management at the Institute of Public Administration and written course material on managing the software infrastructure for the institute’s degree programme. He has a National Diploma in Computing (with Distinction) and a BSc Honours Degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.
