Eurofound is situated 16km south of Dublin city centre, 1km inland from the coast at Wyattville Road, Loughlinstown. Dublin Airport is situated 12km north of the city centre.

Route to Eurofound

From Dublin Airport:

Take the M50 motorway (follow signs marked from airport exit) southbound heading in the direction of Wicklow/Wexford. Leave the motorway at exit 16 (Cherrywood/ Loughlinstown/ Ballybrack), veering left at the lights and onto Wyattville Link Road. Drive through three further sets of traffic lights, crossing over the N11/Bray road to reach Wyattville Road, staying in the right lane. Drive through a fourth set of lights and at the fifth lights, make a U-turn, so that you are now heading back down Wyattville Road in the opposite direction, staying in left lane. Prepare to stop just before the next junction (150m) and turn left into the main entrance of Eurofound (stone pillars)(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab.

From Dublin city centre:

The best route is to travel on the main road N11, via Donnybrook, Stillorgan and Foxrock (direction Bray). Reach the major junction indicated Ballybrack/Killiney/Dalkey, staying in the left lane, and take a left turn at the lights onto Wyattville Road. Drive through the first set of lights and at the second set make a U-turn so that you are now heading back down Wyattville Road in the opposite direction. Move to the left lane and prepare to stop just before the next junction (150m) and turn left into the main entrance of Eurofound (stone pillars)(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab.  

Bus

From Dublin city centre:

Several buses run by Dublin Bus(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab will take you directly to Eurofound in Loughlinstown from the city centre.

From Dublin Airport:

Airport bus services running to and from Dublin are run by Aircoach and Dublin Express. There are several routes taking you from the airport into the city centre.   • Take Aircoach route 700 to Stop 435, Sycamore Cresent, Stillorgan, from where you can pick up bus No. E1 directly to Eurofound

  • The Aircoach route 702 stops at other southside destinations such as Dún Laoghaire, from where you can pick up a bus directly to Eurofound:

From Dún Laoghaire:

  • No. 7 (destination 'Brides Glen') to Stop 3220, Wyattville Close, Loughlinstown

  • No. 7a (destination 'Loughlinstown Park') to Stop 3221, Loughlinstown Drive

Tram

The tram system in Dublin is known as Luas(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab. Take the Luas Green Line (destination 'Brides Glen') from the city centre to Cherrywood Luas Stop, a 15-minute walk to Eurofound(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab. Luas departs from Marlborough Street, College Green, Dawson Street, St Stephen’s Green and Harcourt Street approximately every 5-15 minutes.

Train

Take the Dublin suburban train known as DART(opens in new tab)This link opens in a new tab from the city centre to Dún Laoghaire station on the south-east coast, from where you have multiple direct bus options to Eurofound (see 'From Dún Laoghaire' above). Or take the DART to Killiney station, a 27-minute walk to Eurofound. Trains depart from any of the city centre stations – Connolly, Tara Street or Pearse – approximately every 15 minutes. Please note that there is no taxi service from Killiney station.

A variety of car rental companies are located in the arrivals hall at Dublin Airport and you can also book your car hire online in advance.
