This paper was presented at the Irish Presidency Conference ‘Foresight for innovations – thinking and debating the future: Shaping and aligning policies’, Dublin, 14-15 June 2004. This article explores knowledge society issues in light of the Euforia project results and other general literature, and aims to identify areas for future analysis.
