Quality of Life and Working Conditions Survey, Bulgaria (survey report)

Fieldwork for a nationwide representative survey in Bulgaria was completed in June 2005. The survey findings indicate that working conditions are improving, with a number of indicators - from overall fatigue to the proportion of fixed-term contracts - revealing a better quality of work. However, some factors were found to have deteriorated since 2001. Nonetheless, three out of four Bulgarian workers report that they are satisfied with their jobs.
