Social Implications of Teleworking: the legal and contractual situations of teleworkers in the European Union

The objectives of this report are first, to define telework, by examining the legal and contractual situation of teleworkers (including the self-employed), and secondly, to see to what extent the phenomenon has developed in the European Union, and thirdly, to examine how the issue is being dealt with from a labour law perspective. Finally, labour law questions associated with telework are looked at and possible solutions for the future envisaged.
