Households and reconstituted families WP/97/65/EN EUROPEAN FOUNDATION for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions FOREWORD The following inventory is a preliminary draft prepared for the report "The relevance of quantitative indicators in the monitoring of social policies". It focuses on section 2.3, which covers reconstituted families. The document is not comprehensive. Because the author had good access to scientific networks and data bases in the UK and the Netherlands, she has concentrated particularly on materials relating to these two EU member states. Wider coverage would require additional information and systematic checking by experts from the countries falling within the scope of the inventory.
