Direct participation in the social public services
Published: 26 August 2012
What is the extent of direct participation? To what degree can employees influence the organisation of work or control their working environment? What are the economic and social effects? In order to answer these and other questions the Foundation undertook a postal survey of European management during the Autumn of 1996. This report is the result of the analysis of the data in the EPOC survey relating to the practice of direct participation in the social public services, giving, for the first time, a comprehensive overview of the implementation and effects of direct employee participation within these services.
