EIRObserver (Issue 4/01)

Published: 26 August 2012

EIRObserver is the bi-monthly bulletin of the European Industrial Relations Observatory. It contains an edited selection of feature and news items, based on some of the reports supplied for the EIROnline database over each two-month period. On top of this, EIRO also conducts comparative research on specific themes. The comparative supplement in this issue of EIRObserver examines the extent to which employees and collective bargaining are involved in managing and responding to continous corporate restructuring and change. The supplement outlines the extent and character of restructuring, before considering the statutory and collective agreed provisions on employee participation in the process, and the way in which collective bargaining at various levels plays a role.
