Eurocounsel - An action research programme on counselling and long-term unemployment

Eurocounsel, an action research programme of the European Foundation, has examined how guidance and counselling services are responding to the needs of the unemployed, those at risk of unemployment and the requirements of the labour market in the 1990s. Initiated in 1991 it has been based primarily on action research in ten local labour market areas in six Member States, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
