Energy sector: Envicrack energy cluster, Czech Republic

In cooperation with the Technical University of Ostrava, a feasibility study for the Envicrack cluster and its activities of developing and marketing pyrolysis technology was made. In November 2005, the cluster was founded by 17 members, among which are the university and Arrow Line, an SME specialising in shunting devices. The cluster’s overall strategy was to carry out the development and marketing of pyrolysis technology within a period of two years. Finance was obtained from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade, among others.
