Getting by in a changing Europe: Findings from the Living and Working in the EU e-survey 2025
Expected publication: January 2026
Eurofound’s 2025 Living and working in the EU e-survey reveals that many respondents continue to face significant financial strain despite easing inflation and relatively stable labour markets. This factsheet investigates economic pressures, insecurity and savings buffers across different social groups. Survey results also highlight declining mental well-being and optimism, as well as widening inequalities in trust in institutions. In working life, the survey monitors how respondents' wishes to work from home match the reality and how mismatches impact their work–life balance. The factsheet provides a comprehensive overview of these recent trends and their implications for living and working conditions across the EU.
