A synthesis of the deliberations of the Sixth European Ecology of Work Conference held in Bonn, Germany from 17-20 May 1999. The 'Ecology of Work' term refers to the design of work systems which optimise both people outcomes and business outcomes. Such work systems emphasise participation, teamwork, and cooperative problem solving to achieve increased performance and productivity.
