European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aida Cruises, the market leader in the cruise sector in Germany, has announced that it is to create 4,000 jobs by the end of 2012 through the expansion of its fleet from four to nine cruise liners. The new jobs will be created on board or in the city of Rostock (Germany). The first cruise liner shall set sail in April 2009. As of March 2008, there is no information on the number employed in Rostock.
