Description

The German global discount retailer Aldi has announced that it will create over 3,000 new jobs worldwide in 2021. More than 1,000 positions are expected to be created in Spain by the end of 2021, as the chain is expanding its commercial and logistics area by more than 50% in the next two years. The chain will create about 2,000 new jobs between summer and Christmas 2021 in the UK, where the company plans to open more than one new store a week across the country. While in the Netherlands, the company has announced that it will close its distribution centre in Best and dismiss all 150 employees.

Aldi has been operating since 1946. Currently, the company has over 11,000 stores in 20 countries employing more than 125,000 people.
