Description

Sabena Technics, a company which offers maintenance services for the aeronautical sector amongst others, announced to its Works Council its decision to cut 118 jobs. Currently, the company employs 584 people in Zaventem. It has been reported that the management aims to offshore part of its activities to Bordeaux, France. Redundant workers may be offered to relocate to France.

According to the management, the announced restructuring measures will help the company to reduce indirect costs and business expenses.

There is currently no reaction from unions.
