Description

The media and entertainment company Sky is creating 1,000 new jobs in the UK. The company is currently recruiting 500 engineers and 500 customer service staff. The engineers will be employed on permanent contracts throughout the country to install new TV platforms in private residencies, while the contact agents will be employed at a new customer support centre in Leeds, in the north of England. The business expansion is due to growing customer demand.

Sky is Europe’s largest media company – it owns Sky News and employs 25,000 employees in the UK and Ireland.
