Description
Distribution specialists Yearsley Logistics have announced the creation of 120 new jobs at its site in Newark, Nottinghamshire. The creation of the jobs follows a 10 million GBP investment in a new 50,000 square foot unit. The expansion has nearly doubled capacity at the site and in addition to creating new jobs has also secured the 220 existing jobs at the site. The new unit will allow the company to undertake contracts for major retailers such as Greggs Bakery, Sainsbury's and Iceland. The new jobs include full and part-time positions for warehouse operatives, pickers and drivers and well as management positions. The company has announced its intention to recruit locally and hopes that all positions will be filled by June 2016.
