Description

On 31 May 2011, the management of the printing company Imprimerie Didier Mary which belongs to Circle Printers Europe announced a restructuring plan resulting in the loss of 114 jobs.

This restructuring plan was adopted in the context of the restructuring of the French activities of Circle Printers Europe (formerly known as Quebecor employing 1,166 in France).

On 22 February 2011 the commercial court of Meaux (Seine-et-Marne) decided to place Circle Printers into receivership. The administrators have presented a large reorganisation plan to the consultation bodies with proposed job cuts.

The restructuring will also result in the loss of approximately 63 positions at Graphic Brochage, 37 at Helio Corbeil, 12 at CPS and 3 at CPF. In addition, the administrative receivers are reorganising the former company's various plants to improve efficiencies and increase production. They will also change working conditions. Circle Printers Europe has 3,000 employees in Europe and a turnover of 500 millions euro.
