Abstract
I gcomhthéacs a chláir oibre 2011, tá iniúchadh déanta ag Eurofound ar chás daoine óga atá páirteach i ngrúpa NEET: ‘nach bhfuil i bhfostaíocht, oideachas ná oiliúint’. Ba é aonad Fostaíochta agus Iomaíochais Eurofound, agus úsáid á baint aige as acmhainn Líonra na Réadlann Eorpach, a rinne an taighde. An aidhm a bhí leis an taighde ná cás reatha na ndaoine óga san Eoraip a scrúdú, ag díriú go speisialta orthu siúd nach bhfuil i bhfostaíocht, oideachas ná oiliúint, agus tuiscint a fháil ar na hiarmhairtí geilleagracha agus sóisialta a bhaineann lena ndíscor ón margadh fostaíochta agus ón oideachas.
