This informal meeting of employment and social affairs ministers (EPSCO) takes place in Budapest on 9–10 October 2024.
Eurofound contributes in two slots under the umbrella of the Presidency.
The conference seeks to present the employment situation of persons with disabilities and with reduced working capacity, and to showcase international examples of best practice.
Daphne Ahrendt, Senior Research Manager in the Social Policies unit at Eurofound is speaking on the knowledge the Agency contributes to helping boost the employment of persons with disabilities in the open labour market.

10 October Informal ESPCO: Session on employment issues
Eurofound Executive Director Ivailo Kalfin will take part in the informal Ministerial meeting and intervene during the exchange of views on the topic of labour shortages in the EU and global challenges, alongside EFTA Ministers, the EU social partners ETUC, BusinessEurope, SGI Europe and SMEUnited as well as the ILO and the EESC.
