The Joint Meeting of the Chief Medical, Chief Nursing and Chief Dental Officersopens in new tab is an important platform to connect the leadership of the medical, nursing and dental policy-makers in the EU.
This meeting provides a valuable opportunity for Member States' Chief Medical Officers, Chief Nursing Officers and Chief Dental Officers to gain insights on best practices applied at the national and European levels, and to share experience which will further inform the health agenda throughout the Presidency calendar. This event will comprise a two-day conference, a site visit to a relevant medical facility and a number of breakout sessions to enable the CMOs, CNOs and CDOs to hold discussions on specific topics of collective interest across EU health systems.
The meeting will focus on how incremental, early interventions across the medical, nursing and dental sectors can drive lasting change, exploring how a proactive life-course approach to health can transform systems and support long-term sustainability.
