Reinforcing social dialogue in the context of the move towards the green and digital transitions: Background paper

Published: 14 February 2022

The informal meeting of EU ministers responsible for employment and social policy (EPSCO) took place in Bordeaux on 14–15 February 2022 during the French Presidency of the Council of the EU. The meeting focused on the challenges posed by the major green and digital transitions to the labour market, and the way in which the European Union can support these transitions within the framework of the construction of a new European model of growth. Eurofound contributed to the discussion on the topic of social dialogue (Workshop 3), specifically regarding its potential role at European and national level in facilitating the adaptation of the labour market to the twin transitions. This background paper was prepared by Eurofound at the request of the French Presidency for the informal EPSCO.
