CEOE and MEDEF sign a cooperation agreement to create a French-Spanish employers’ committee.

On 4 June 2015, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE) and French employers’ organisation (MEDEF) signed an agreement to create a French-Spanish employers' committee. This will be formed by an independent group of employers and economic organisations, and headed by the presidents of CEOE (Juan Rosell) and MEDEF (Pierre Gattaz). The agreement is intended to facilitate business and trade relations between the two countries (Spain and France). Both organisations commit themselves to promoting bilateral cooperation, exchanging information, and sharing interests for the benefit of Spanish and French companies and the European integration. They will also present joint proposals for the reform of the labour market, international commercial relations, energy and financial issues, red tape simplification, and so on.
