The European Confederation of Independent Trade Unions (CESI) is organising an event on public sector restructuring on 25-26 June 2015 in Dublin.
The symposium is articulated in three parts:
Restructuring in the public sector in Europe
Presentation of case studies on restructuring in the public sector, with a special focus on the role of social partners in the promotion of information and consultation of employees
Recommendations for the improved protection of the right to information and consultation of employees in the public sector in Europe.
Eurofound contribution
John Hurley, Research Manager in the Employment and Change unit, will make a presentation on the status quo of restructuring in the public sector in Europe, based on the recently published ERM Annual Report 2014. He will also introduce the European Restructuring Monitor (ERM).
