EU Commissioner Michael McGrath visits Eurofound as it marks its 50th anniversary

Michael McGrath, EU Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection visits Eurofound on Friday 4 April 2025 for the first time ever. He meets with Ivailo Kalfin, Executive Director, along with members of the senior management team. He also addresses staff and discusses Eurofound’s latest research on living and working in Europe, including working conditions and sustainable work, industrial relations and social dialogue, living conditions and quality of life, digitalisation, social inclusion, discrimination at work, just transition, gender equality, and employment and labour markets.
This year, Eurofound is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking half a century of dedicated research and contributions to improving living and working conditions in Europe. Over the years, Eurofound has played a pivotal role in shaping policies and fostering social dialogue across the European Union. As we look to the future, Eurofound remains committed to addressing emerging challenges and continuing its mission to enhance the quality of life for all Europeans as we mark 50 years of supporting better policies for a stronger social Europe in 2025!
