Eurofound is partnering up with EU Think-Tank Friends of Europe for the 2020 State of Europe event which moves online for a full week of activities as The festival of politics and ideas to transform Europe.

From Monday 12 October until Thursday 15 October 2020, the event will be an opportunity to discuss a sustainable transition, implementing a bold EU industrial strategy, and rethinking the health system as well as a new approach to growth, the digitalisation of the whole economy; and the impact of the EU’s demographics across these areas.
On 12 October, Eurofound’s Director Juan Menéndez-Valdés will take part actively in the Festival opening session at 9:30-11:00 on A question of leadership, governance and trust and at 17:30-18:30 CEST in the high-level session on How do we pay social protection?
On 14 October, Eurofound’s Head of Social Policies, Massimiliano Mascherini, will take part at 09.45-11.00 CEST in the high-level session: Rethinking world health systems.
Sessions will vary from closed circles of a handful of top decisionmakers to a few hundred senior discussants, most of the week will be livestreamed so as to allow a wider audience to engage.
